New Marshall Huts Nailed by Bay of Plenty Trades Academy

Students on the 2015 Trades Academy Construction programme have recently completed a very special project, turning theory into practice.

Earlier this year the Tauranga Motor Cycle Club approached Bay of Plenty Polytechnic to see if they would be able to build ten marshalling huts for the club’s track at TECT Park. Group Leader Carpentry, Brian Dillon, jumped at the opportunity recognising it as a valuable learning tool for the young students – read on here.
